PROPERTY/MAINTENANCE NEWS
The Property and
Maintenance Committee meets the 3rd Thursday of each month and 6:30PM
in the Church library. Projects and scheduling are discussed.
Tentative schedule for upcoming 9:00 Saturday projects –all are very important. Note, the men of the church meet for breakfast at 8:00 on Blondie's prior to work days. All men, women and children of the church are welcome to the Saturday work projects. a. May l7th – sprinklers and interior paint.b. July l9th – paint a portion of building exterior.c. August l6th – parking lot cleaning and restriping. Additional important yet unscheduled tasks – a. Basement organization. Sanctuary/Narthex
Study Committee being formed by Church Council – Rick G. and Guy L.
have agreed to serve on the committee. Additional church members are
welcome to take part in this important forward planning task. Signs – a. New Church Office” and “Cildcare Entrance” signs will be installed week of 4-2l-08.b. New “corner” signs are in progress and will replace existing signs. They are expected to be in place by late summer. Rhoddies will be pruned and some removed by fall. The
immediate and scheduled needs of the church and childcare center ar
effectively handled by this group. Rick G., Guy L. and Fred S. deserve
our thanks for their ongoing efforts and for jobs well done. If you can spare some time and would like to assist this group, please contact Rick G or Guy L.
